If you pushed for a law which raised the minimum wage for farm workers several dollars an hour, you'd be denounced as a lunatic socialist who is intent on destroying American agriculture.
But if you push for these laws, which essentially have the same economic impact on farmers, it's OK, because you're keeping away the brown people who don't speak English well.

The Most Hateful Commenter at Althouse
Ritmo Re-animated
A taste of his honey:
Ritmo!
A taste of his honey:
Lol. This is the dumbest, most cynical and self-defeating bs excuse for an idea that I've heard you ("people like you"?) come up with.Go! Go!
.....
Thanks for the mindless insult. It's nice to know that a partisan for the same side that runs a guy as inarticulate and self-defeating as Rick Perry still has bigger priorities than an intelligent political agenda.
Your whole slate of candidates sucks and shows how stupid and pointless the Republican party has become. But keep insulting me. Somehow that will help you.
.....
Speaking of Republican't dipshits, I love this ad that was just put out by the Romney campaign.
Ritmo!

Rich Liberals in a Nutshell
Rich liberals in a nutshell:
Another plump mogul pulls up the ladder behind him, calls down to the raging mob below to advise them on tactics to keep the rest of us securely pinned under the boot heel of the state. In the name of fairness, of course, or social justice, or equality or some such pabulum. Same old shit.

Hating the Country You Adopted
When wearing a U.S. flag T-shirt is wrong?
There's a statement broad and ambiguous enough to pretty much be interpreted any way the powers that be want.
Any wonder the article's writing is Hispanic and "Live Oak High School Assistant Principal Miguel Rodriguez ordered them to remove or turn inside out T-shirts bearing the American flag" is Hispanic. Obvious bias. Respect is a two way street, except to haters.
When is wearing a T-shirt with the American flag on it considered provocative?"any clothing or decoration which detracts from the learning environment."
Answer: When you wear it to a high school with a dress code that explicitly prohibits "any clothing or decoration which detracts from the learning environment." And when the high school, where 20% of the 1,300 students are English-language learners and 18% come from low-income families, has been described by the San Francisco Chronicle as having "an ethnically charged atmosphere."
And when, despite concerns about potential violence, you and some of your friends make your patriotic wardrobe choices on, of all days, Cinco de Mayo.
There's a statement broad and ambiguous enough to pretty much be interpreted any way the powers that be want.
Under ordinary circumstances, wearing a T-shirt with the American flag on it would probably not be a big deal. But this high school is no ordinary place, especially not on Cinco de Mayo. It's a cultural powder keg.Typical liberal position. Support those who threaten violence and tell the lawful citizens to shut up, you have no right to free speech that counters the free speech of those who hate our country.
The previous year, in 2009, a group of Mexican students marked the holiday by walking around campus holding a Mexican flag. A group of white students responded by hanging a makeshift American flag from a tree and chanting "USA." According to the Chronicle, tensions flared and the two groups faced off with profanity and threats.
Little wonder that when some students showed up at school wearing T-shirts with American flags on them administrators decided to err on the side of caution.
Meanwhile, the judge did the right thing in dismissing the case and declaring that administrators had the right to take preventive action if there was a "reasonable fear" of violence.
Americans have the responsibility to treat one another, and one another's cultures, with respect.Unless, of course, it's treating the traditional American culture with respect.
Any wonder the article's writing is Hispanic and "Live Oak High School Assistant Principal Miguel Rodriguez ordered them to remove or turn inside out T-shirts bearing the American flag" is Hispanic. Obvious bias. Respect is a two way street, except to haters.

A Moment of Silent Hate
“I think we should have a moment of silence in solidarity for the person they said was from the Washington, D.C. Occupy. Maybe, why did he feel the need to shoot the White House window today?” he asked.Source.
“So I think we should have a moment in solidarity for the White House, and for the guy that shot at the White House today. I don’t know if you heard, but someone shot at the White House window today.”
I'm not a big fan of Obama, but it never occurred to me to for the guy that wanted to assassinate him.
I wonder what fellow Californian Maxine Waters (D) has to say about this. The same Maxine Waters who:
Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) thinks the Tea Party can go "straight to Hell." But when asked about the crime and violence at Occupy Wall Street camps, she said, “that’s life and it happens.”Yep. The peaceful Tea Party can go to Hell, but the rioting, violent occupiers are "that's life."
“That’s a distraction from the goals of the protesters," she told CNS News.
“Let me just say this," she said, adding, "Anytime you have a gathering, homeless people are going to show up."
“They will find some comfort in having some other people out on the streets with them. They’re looking for food. Often times, the criminal element will invade. That’s life and it happens, whether it’s with protesters or other efforts that go on in this country."

OWS Hate in New York
The black guy doing all the hate and violence talk was Nkrumah Tinsley arrested after threatening to burn down city.
Also, OWS protesters intimidate school kids, some as young as 4 years old.
In the middle of thousands of protesters yelling and chanting — some kicking and screaming – CBS 2’s Emily Smith found little school kids trying to get to class. Nervous parents led them through the barriers on Wall Street. The NYPD helped funnel the children, anything to ease their fears while some protesters chanted “follow those kids!”Hate is an emotion that pulls people together and promotes group action. Yay, Hate!
“These guys are terrorists, yelling at little kids,” one father said.
“For them it’s horrible. They’re afraid of all the crowds. We’re not even able to get through. They’re just, he’s … very afraid now,” a mother added.

A Problem: Conservative White Men
As we all know the root of all problems in the world is CONSERVATIVE WHITE MEN.
In the end, everyone has to make their own bet. Do you make progress by attempting to please the Very Serious People running the system or by speaking truth to power and subverting the system? For my part, when I see people denying facts and bullying scientists in order perpetuate the dominance of fossil fuel interests that are killing people and threatening my children's futures, I am inclined to tell them to go f*ck themselves. That won't resonate with their social/tribal perspectives, but that's because I find their social/tribal perspectives repugnant and worthy of social censure. I want to beat them.Damn those conservative white men. Damn them.
Hate Is Good
Hate Is Good. So says Valerie Frankel.
People around the world are watching and applauding Occupy Wall Street because they agree the hate is healthy, justified, authentic, and worthy. Hate on. Occupy on. This is the best movie about Wall Street I've ever seen. I don't want it to end.Keep up the hate!!
